2018 Domaine Belle-Mare Picpoul de Pinet
Near Montpellier, between Mèze and Marseillan, the Domaine Belle Mare covers 68 hectares, 63 of which are planted with vines on the banks of the Étang de Thau, the largest and deepest seaside saltwater lake in the Languedoc region.
The Picpoul Blanc variety, an emblem of the Languedoc region, has been grown along the banks of the Étang de Thau since Antiquity. A late variety, at home in a dry climate, it takes advantage of the moisture of the late season to finish its maturation. The Picpoul de Pinet appellation offers a wine with maritime flavours - dry, mineral and iodine with citrus and flowery notes obtained thanks to our 50-year-old vines. The Muscadet of the Languedoc!
