Purveyors of fine grape juice
2018 Bobar Viognier yarra valley, australia

This is not an orange wine, per se, but does see a few days of carbonic maceration/whole bunch in a tank to build up structure.
You could call it an orange wine, you could call it a structural white. You could just get on with it. From the Belford family in Yarra Valley. Lovely folks.
Quite a restrained viognier though the volume of perfume is there, despite the palate being saline, light, tightly wound up in pithiness and lemon balm tang. Gentle sweetness, lots of ‘extraction’ but not weight, just plenty of structure to sink teeth into. Super delicious. Incredible vitality. Quinine and bitter lemon to finish. Seriously delicious.
