2018 Blood Moon Sang de Lune
The vineyard sits on sandy topsoils above an ancient granite plug, which forms the hill that overlooks the Yarra Valley floor - a geological anomaly and unique terroir in not only Yarra Glen, but the greater Yarra Valley.
The Shiraz was picked from the lower end of the Western slope. Hand-picked fruit was fermented as a combination of whole bunches and whole berries utilising only indigenous yeasts. Ferments were turned over by hand before being basket-pressed to old French oak. Only minimal sulphites added. Vegan friendly.
