Winemaker Patrice Béguet, born in the Jura, gave up Paris city life and returned to the Jura countryside with his wife, Caroline Hughes. They purchased heritage vineyards on great terroir, and set up a small winery under their house in Mesnay adopting sustainable viticulture practices and winemaking techniques. 90% Gamay from the Landron's Loire vineyards and 10% Savagnin from the Jura. Fermentation by indigenous yeast and no sulphites or filtration at any stage. It heads into medium bodied but still fresh and zippy like the other Big Bunch Theory wines with a little CO2 spritz.
