2017 LattaVINO Coghills Creek Pinot Noir
So much interest in the wines of this fine, young producer, a real boundary pusher but with an eye on elevated quality in the same, avant garde breath.
Has that sense of nourishment, savouriness, turned earth on pleasing sour cherries, touch of pomegranate, suggestion of game meat. Lightly chewy tannins do a good deal, so does the length and the amaro-kissed acidity is a charm. This has a beautiful mellowness and understatement but delivers so much going on. Yes thanks.
