2017 Fall From Grace La Madrina

We decided to release this wine with a little more time in bottle. We picked mid march and the fruit was perfectly ripe with the acid edge we love. It is a “village” wine, hand made for food and friends. It is such a great variety for the Fleurieu making honest wines with a great balance between fruit & savoury characters. We use a mix of clay pots and open fermenters, with 90 days on skins in handmade clay pots then 12 months in older oak. A core of bright and juicy red and black fruits, Italian herbs and fresh, blood orange acidity.
