Ciro Picariello’s tiny 7 hectare estate lies at the heart of Campania’s white grape region of Avellino among the Irpinian hills. Sourced from south facing vineyards around the town of Guardia Sanframondi in the province of Benevento at 380m elevation. This is a delicious Falanghina with Ciro's signature of taut zesty fruit, bright Granny Smith apple crunch and a lovely wash of green herb freshness throughout. For all the crispness and zest there's a little more weight here than with the Fiano, with a mellow juiciness giving a breadth and length on the finish. Super.
