Purveyors of fine grape juice
2017 Brave New Wine Maison Derrière great southern, australia

Always a wink and a smile with Brave New Wine.
How’s that cuvee name, ey? I mean you could translate it literally, and guffaw, or drill a little deeper and remember that it’s the name of the risque burlesque house in The Simpsons. This is a Pinot Noir and Chardonnay co-ferment rose/orange wine kinda thing. Check out the alcohol at 10.2% too!
Pale ruby coloured in glass. Textural, lightly herbal, juicy then pulled tight into a smudge of tannin. It’s got a lot going on, overall deliciousness and a sense of intrigue. Cherry, cherry pip, brambles, amaro, pepper all jostling in bouquet and palate. Moreish, mouthwatering finish the clincher. Really good drinking to be had here. Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
