Purveyors of fine grape juice
2016 Sassafras Salita canberra, australia

From the small but confident, dexterous hands of Paul Starr and partner Tammy Braybrook.
It’s bloody delicious, mates. It’s all bright, juicy fruit with a big couple of rips on the spice grinder over the top. Bold, ripe fruited scents of macerated cherries, stewed plums, blueberry pie, clove/pepper and earth. The palate is long, slurpy and dusty-spicy with a good couple of chews of tannin that finish the wine in a good pucker. It’s unreal drinking, if not addictive in its way. Utterly yum, but with TOC (touch of class). Hard to see why one wouldn’t get some of this on rotation for BBQs/mid weeks/casual drinking at the price. Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
