2016 Possente Zohra
The Zohra is made with Nero d’Avola 60%, Syrah 30%, Cabernet 10% grapes planted 400m above sea level in clay loam soils rich in minerals.
It has been macerated on the skins for 10 days then after malolactic fermentation has occurred it is aged in stainless steel for five months. Ruby red in colour the wine has an intense aroma of red fruits, cherry and strawberry with delicate flowery notes. The mouth is fresh and persistent with pleasantly soft tannins.
