2016 Naudin Myosotis Arvensis

A more chalky site than its paired Orchis wine.
Brooding perfume shows dark cherry, cranberry lift, green herbs and faint earthiness. The palate is lively, cool in crisp red cherry fruit flavours, licked at with light malty-sweet spice and finishes long and lightly chewy. There’s good sense of ‘textural pinot’ here, and the general vibe is of high quality and a gentle, charismatic expression of Burgundy. Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
