Ismael comes from a long history of winegrowers and winemakers. He is 5th generation, his family owning some of the oldest vines of Verdejo: 100 to 260 years old, ungrafted, pre phylloxera. The vineyards are located at an altitude of 800-900 meters on sandy soil and have never seen chemical treatments. A later harvest cuvee, Fermented in barrel, spends some time there then rested for 8 months in Stainless. Mandarins and oranges, Riper fruit initially yet the acidity brings the initial full palate together to have precision and balance. Moorish with savoury licks... Full initially, yet the acid keeps everything in check.
