2016 Lyons Will Estate Pinot Noir
Notes from the makers...
Our production for this vintage was just under 1.7 tonnes per acre, a final production of approx. 3400 bottles. Picked on the 14th of March, the fruit was destemmed (20% whole bunch) and placed in open vats to cold soak for 5 days. Grapes were fermented in open vats, basket pressed and transferred into French oak barrels. 25% of the wine spent it's time in new barriques and the remaining placed in 2-4 year old barrels. This wine has not been fined or filtered and is 100% produced by Lyons Will Estate.
