2016 Lestignac Blanc



Camille and Mathias Marquet are shifting perceptions about Bergerac.
In 2008 after both completing university degrees (psychology and wine marketing) they returned to Mathias family farm in the small town of Lestignac, converted it to organics, and this is the result. This wine is a marriage of Sauvignon from two terroirs, brown and blue clay on limestone and limestone marl. Macerated on skins for between 4 and 8 days depending on the batch and then pressed and left, 80% in old barrels and 20% in amphora.
