2016 Frederick Stevenson Rosé
This is a searingly dry rosé with plenty of character. The fruit is grown on one of our favourite vineyards in the Barossa, owned and managed organically and biodynamically by Wayne Ahrens (Smallfry). The wine is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and a tiny bit of Shiraz. The Grenache is picked early, the Cinsault has a little bit of time on skins and Shiraz gives the wine some backbone. It's all raspberry, strawberry and red apple skin. Hard to resist.
