2015 Eric Texier Adèle Côtes du Rhone Blanc
côtes du rhône,
Eric Texier was first a scientist but found the lure of winemaking too attractive and shifted things up. He’s known for strident organic/biodynamic growing in his vineyards, and while raising his own fruit for the most part, also finds part of his business acting as a negociant. The Adèle is made from Clairette with a small portion of Marsanne. The wine is fermented in concrete tanks with native yeast. It spends about 6 months on lees. It's super aromatic, incredibly light, and for a wine that has travelled halfway around the world - very fresh.
