Purveyors of fine grape juice
2014 Les Maisons Brûlées Pinot Noir loire valley, france

Based in Pouillé, Paul and Corrine Gillet farm 8 hectares of biodynamic vineyards, using no additives whatsoever in the winemaking process.
This is a very limited cuvee – in fact, only 24 bottles and 3 magnums came into Australia. One year in old barriques, as well as a year in bottle before release. A serious wine that calls for food, yet is not heavy or overbearing in any way. Perfect ripeness of fruit, baking spices, and lots of tension from the limestone and silex found in the vineyards. Silky, elegant and seductive. You could be mistaken to think that this was from Burgundy…
