2014 Domaine des Quatre Pierres Les Petits Cailloux
Edouard Fortin created the domaine in 2010, and has 4.5 hectares of organic vineyards, 300 metres above sea level in the foothills of the Massif Central. From young vines being only 12 years of age. Vinification done in Burgundian style with alcoholic and malolactic fermentation taking place in barrel. The wine is aged for 12 months, with stirring of the lees. Fresh and aromatic with hints of kiwi, and offers intrigue with mineral notes and great texture. Very different to anything you would have tried before!
