Christine and Franz Strohmeier are about that natural life. They have a firm belief that a wide variety of organisms existing in the vineyard leads to better wine - so their vineyards basically look like gardens. Pretty amazing. The TLZ wines (“Trauben, Liebe und Zeit” = “Grapes, Love and Time“) have been around since 2007. This is Pinot Blanc that spends 12 months in old barrels. Amazing mouthfeel thanks to the time span with lees. Exciting wine.
