2013 Okamura Honke ‘Kinkame Midori 60’
Some notes from the importer..: The Midori 60 sake is made from locally grown Tamazakae rice polished to 60%. Tamazakae is an ancient strain of rice that originated in Shiga prefecture. Midori 60 has a refreshing aroma of sour apple with hints of pear, daikon and basil flowers. Soft front palate, rounded acidity with hints of pear and melon sweetness, a savoury, spicy middle palate finishing with refreshing acidity with hints of musk.
