2012 Puzelat-Bonhomme In Cot We Trust loire valley, france

A negociant business where by organic fruit is purchased from local growers.
This is a prject between natural wine rock star Thierry Puzelat and Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme, this is one of the last vintages before Thierry departed to work full time on the family winery of Clos du Tue-Boeuf.
Cot is the local name for Malbec, which is whole bunch fermented using wild yeasts and bottled un-fined or filtered and with no sulphur additions. The result is a light/medium bodied, supple and juicy red with wild blackberry fruit and a light savoury undertone of meat, damp foliage and spice.
