Purveyors of fine grape juice
2012 Christian Tschida Laissez Faire burgenland, austria

Weissburgunder (pinot blanc) from old, organically grown (certified), non-irrigated vines in Austria’s Burgenland Nationalpark Neusiedlersee.
Probably one of the best examples of complex, compelling, delicious, interesting pinot blanc out there.
Fog of scent spills out of the glass. Feel that light stone fruit and melon roll over green herbs, take in that tang of dried orange peel, whiff of cidery apple, the curl of savoury nuttiness. The wine crackles in the palate, zings with tangy acidity, shifts to brittle sour acidity which keeps things very edgy and perky. This is a punchy number, blisteringly refreshing with its saline, salty finish. Dances on the palate. Thanks for coming. Mike Bennie - The Wine Front
