Podere San Bagio is located in Controguerra, in the Teramo Hills – a border town between Abruzzo and Marche.
The Fiore family that runs the winery traces its farming beginnings to the 1980s has been dedicated to the search for environmentally friendly agriculture. Since 2014, the family’s youngest son Jacopo Fiore has led the winemaking effort, harnessing natural winemaking practices. Spontaneous fermentation in steel vats, skin maceration of about 10 days. Rests in steel for 12 months before bottling.
