2020 Le Roi Des Cepages

This wine was made from Riesling grapes (trans: the king of grape varieties) purchased from the famous Domaine Philippe Brand in Alsace whose vines are certified by Demeter for biodynamic practices. Sixty percent of the grapes underwent whole bunch maceration for 5 weeks before being pressed and the juice transferred to tank. The remaining 40% were pressed directly. The maceration has produced a pleasantly orange wine with noticeable, but not intrusive, tannins.
