Exciting new wines from Alexander Beccari aka Fahray!
Xander originally cut his teeth with the legendary Franco D'Anna down at Hoddles Creek and now has finally released his first cuvee. 100% Nebbiolo from Grove Estate in Hiltops. Fruit is all destemmed into stainless for a cold soak for 24 hours. Left to ferment for 10 days, and kept on skins for 3 weeks. Finally is pressed to stainless then transferred to old French oak to rest for two years. Bright red fruits galore, littered with white pepper and alpine herbs. Think red liquorice sprinkled with crushed tobacco leaf.
Drink now. Drink later. Drink again and again. Stellar debut. Bravo Xander.
