2022 Upper Goulburn Light Red

These Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were handpicked at 12.2Bé from the Penbro Vineyard in Glenburn. 90% of the parcel underwent carbonic maceration, producing a bright palate of juicy pomegranate and strawberry, with a smidge of stalky tannin. The nose shows cinnamon, cola, cherry and some complex reduction. Spontaneous fermentation, aged in neutral oak, unfined and unfiltered.
