2019 Tinto

Quinta da Devesa was created back in 1844!
Purchased in 1941 but the Fortunato family, Quinta da Devesa is completely independent and specialises in Douro wines and Port! The vineyard is located in northern Portugal overlooking the rivers Douro and Corgo, and contains about 30 hectares of vines. 2019 Tinto is a blend of Portuguese red varieties including Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriuga Franca and Tinta Barroca. Generous and full bodied, its loaded with dried red fruits, aniseed and tobacco. The thick lick of tannin definitely lends this wine to a good cut of meat. Steak wine!
