If you google Costa Rica you’ll see what we mean. What you might not know is that its biodiversity allows for an incredible coffee industry in picturesque landscapes. We’ve picked up the Volcan Azul, a tasty little number that is grown in volcanic soil on the slopes of the Poás Volcano. This is the 5th generation of a successful operation spanning over 1500 hectares and surrounded by protected natural rainforests - sounds amazing, right? What makes these coffee farmers stand out is their processes and experimentation with different fermentation and drying methods - these drying methods mean the coffee packs a huge amount of flavour!
