Made from 100% Jura Gamay!
The 20 year old Gamay vines are from a small 0.27ha parcel in Bréry. Soil is red marne over limestone. The Gamay is fully de-stemmed, crushed and into stainless steel tanks for indigenous yeast fermentation. The wine spends a short amount of élevage old Burg barrels before being bottled. Tart raspberry and fuji apple with a little reductive funk. Fruit is up front and the tannin profile flows from mid to end picking up savoury nuances on the finish. Moreish and interesting to drink.
